CAR SHOW SHINE

Car Show Shine is a car detailing business that my dad and brother started in 2024. They needed branding, and I enjoy putting logos together, so I offered to design their logo and set the tone for their branding.

We decided on an outline of a corvette, and I thought it would be unique to have the front of the corvette as the front of our shirt or business card, and the back of the corvette would then be the back of the shirt and business card. After putting everything together, we loved the rear end of the corvette, so that has become the main logo.

I chose to add sparkles around the edges to signify the “shine” in Car Show Shine. I also created a black version and white version of the logo for different backgrounds. We ended up preferring the white version because it stands out on bold, black backgrounds.

I also put together a simple handout for Car Show Shine in my Layout and Typography class. It was a good exercise to work on branding and picking out the important information to showcase when you have limited space.
